You must treat electricity with caution. The most basic advice I can give is always assume any exposed wires are live and touching them will hurt a lot at best and kill at worst. The first thing you need is a cheap extension core that you are willing to cut in half. After cutting and stripping the wires you need to solder in a relay. A relay is just like a light switch only instead of using your finger to flip the switch you use a small amount of voltage. These relays handle 5Amps at V AC. This means they can safely handle 5 Amps at V like you find in the US power grid. I spliced the relay into the black wire on my power cord.

It can only go in one way and there is only one male H4 connector, so it is hard to get this step wrong! It does not make any difference which wire connects to the 1 wire coming from the alternator.
The other wire from the socket connects to the ignition terminal on the ignition switch. When you turn on the ignition switch, current flows thru the bulb to the alternator internally grounded and will light up the bulb. Once the engine has been started the light will go out. If you prefer to use a diode not a resistor , you will connect it so that the current will only flow from the ignition terminal of the ignition switch to the alternator.

My symptoms are no power to speak of below rpm. At that point turbo boost occurs and power comes up, though no where near what it should be. The engine revs smoothly but runs out of steam before rpm. I’m left to decide if the problem is the AMM or the O2 sensor. If your B FT throws oil around like mine, the throttle body can easily get crudded up and cause problems exactly as you described. All these were fine, just a dirty throttle body caused the problem.
Use a small flat-bladed screwdriver to loosen the little locking tab on the end of the lower ball-and-socket. One right-hand thread, the other left-hand. The gasket on my car lifted right off with no fuss, but if you have to scrape be sure to use a plastic or wood scraper so as not to damage the aluminum facing. To wire up your new horns so that your little switch can work them, wire them as illustrated. When you hit the horn button, the button only needs to supply a small amount of current to trigger your relay. Terminal 85 is common ground you can use your old horn ground.
